Qeychain Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Qeychain’s applications, software, websites, and related services (“Service”), provided by Qeychain, Inc., a California corporation (“Qeychain,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Nature of the Service

Qeychain provides software tools designed to assist users in organizing, tracking, analyzing, and visualizing blockchain transaction data and related financial information. The Service is informational and computational in nature.

No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

Qeychain is not a tax preparer, accounting firm, financial adviser, broker, dealer, or law firm. Nothing within the Service constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice. Users are solely responsible for decisions made using the Service.

Accuracy & Cost Basis Disclosure

Use of the Service is subject to the Accuracy & Cost Basis Disclosure incorporated by reference.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing accurate data inputs, reviewing outputs, maintaining records, and complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Accounts & Security

Users are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and all activities conducted under their account. Qeychain is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access.

Subscription Terms

By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to renewal
  • Your payment method will be charged automatically
  • Renewal charges will occur at the then-current subscription rate

You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting support at support@qeychain.com.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Qeychain will provide a renewal reminder or confirmation notice when required by applicable law.

Refund Policy

Except where required by law:

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable
  • Partial billing periods are not prorated
  • Failure to use the Service does not entitle you to a refund

If you believe a billing error has occurred, you must notify Qeychain within 30 days of the charge.

Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Qeychain to resolve the dispute may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of account access
  • Termination of services
  • Recovery of associated fees, costs, and expenses

Service Modifications

Qeychain may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without liability.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QEYCHAIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ACCURACY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QEYCHAIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR FINANCIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED FEES PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

Cryptoasset & Blockchain Risk Disclosure

Users acknowledge that:

  • Cryptoasset markets are volatile and unpredictable
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • Token classifications may change
  • Protocol mechanics may affect transaction interpretation
  • Pricing data may vary across sources
  • Regulatory frameworks are evolving

Qeychain does not control blockchain networks, protocols, exchanges, or third-party services.

Users assume all risks associated with cryptoasset activity and data interpretation.

Protocol & Token Event Limitations

Certain blockchain activities may produce outputs that are difficult or impossible to classify algorithmically, including:

  • DeFi protocol interactions
  • Liquidity provision
  • Staking mechanisms
  • Wrapped tokens
  • Token migrations
  • Airdrops
  • NFT transactions
  • Smart contract events

Qeychain does not guarantee accurate classification, valuation, or treatment of such events.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing and validating these transactions.

Third-Party Data Sources

The Service relies on third-party data providers, blockchain networks, APIs, and pricing feeds. Qeychain does not warrant:

  • Availability of third-party services
  • Accuracy of third-party data
  • Continuity of integrations

Service outputs may be impacted by third-party failures or inconsistencies.

Service Availability

Qeychain does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Service interruptions may occur due to:

  • Maintenance
  • System updates
  • Network failures
  • Third-party outages
  • Security events

Qeychain is not liable for losses arising from Service downtime.

User Decision Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Financial decisions
  • Tax reporting
  • Regulatory filings
  • Trading activity

Qeychain outputs must not be relied upon as definitive financial or tax records.

Independent verification is required.

Regulatory Uncertainty

Cryptoasset regulations and tax frameworks vary by jurisdiction and may change.

Qeychain does not guarantee regulatory compliance outcomes.

Users are responsible for compliance with applicable laws.

Data Retention

Qeychain retains user data only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements

We may delete inactive account data after a commercially reasonable period.

User-Initiated Deletion

Users may request deletion of personal information by contacting support@qeychain.com.

Deletion requests are subject to:

  • Identity verification
  • Legal retention requirements
  • Backup and archival limitations

Certain data may persist in backups for a limited period.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify Qeychain for claims arising from misuse of the Service or violation of law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes are governed by the Arbitration Addendum below.


Acceptable Use Policy

Users may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with Service infrastructure
  • Abuse system resources
  • Use unauthorized automated extraction tools
  • Misrepresent Service outputs

Qeychain may suspend accounts for violations.


Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Addendum

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS.

Users waive the right to participate in class actions.

Users may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by written notice.

Either party may bring eligible claims in small claims court.
